I've been spoiled already, riding thru the mountains of NM and Az, really pleasant. Then I descended into the Camp Verde Valley of Az and all hell broke loose, no camping in the state park for me tonight. I'll do the Sedona tour tomorrow and then head North. Great riding so far.

Sounds like a good trip.  Yea, don't think I could sleep outside in AZ if not in the mountains this time of year.

Be safe,

That is why God made air conditioners.  Show your gratitude by checking in at a motel/hotel with such a glorious gift.

I did check into the air conditioning RM at about 1:00 PM Pacific. I was going to wait until morning to do the 89A ride from Prescott Valley to Sedona, but I got bored in all of this A/C and couldn't wait. I'll just say this, Jerome, Az is a town everyone needs to see.

Post your route will ya  sounds like a great  time  Good for you !

That 89A from Prescott into Sedona and thru to Jerome is nice

Hope before turning right to follow 89A into Jerome
you took the road its only about a half hour detour south thru Sedona as
that is where some of the best views  like cathedral rock and hiking
(they are short hikes) are
