Just curious if anyone has parked/stored their Valk in the house?   if so,,, how bad are the fumes from the fuel.

I need to get mine out of storage, its been sitting too long, and don't want to park it outside.

Thanks,

Only thing I would recommend is to shut it down a couple minutes before bringing it in and push it outside before starting.

Don't do burnouts on the linoleum, even if you're about to get it replaced.

Seems to cause a "not getting laid tonight" issue with the spouse...  uglystupid2

Contact Attic Rat. He use to keep 2 Valkyries and a BMW in his dining room. You could never tell they were in there unless you went to look at them. He kept them in his dining room until he got married. I am thinking his wife did not like them in the house.......lol

I keep all four of mine in the house, 2 IS, 1 Tourer, 1 Std.   Ride'em right in through a set of French doors.

I even do all my work and polishing on them in the house, cool in the summer, warm in the winter.

I've noticed that even covered in the garage they still get dusty, outside covered, bugs, wasp, spiders, etc. In the house, it's not that important of an item, I can clean it up any time.

Just a follow up,

I did get my valk home from storage,   and its now in the den!

Looks great!  Great conversation piece,,,  : )

I was worried about fuel smell,,, but after a week.  zero smell

and of course its a valk, so no oil drips.

As long as no fuel leaks no problem.  Keep mine in my game room.  Did the whole hydro lock repair in there. ( fumes got a lil bad doing that but a big fan and open windows made that go away quick ).  Made working on it a bit funner.   uglystupid2   Cheesy. Found out too that a standard can fit through a 36" door frame with a lil clever leaning.   cooldude
