Where do you buy Honda special tools? So far, I have not seen them offered at the different web sites. Do I have to go and take my chances at a Honda steeler?  The part numbers are offered in the Honda repair manual. Thanks   Firefighter

Look in the Honda shop manual, they list special tool part numbers every
time they specify a special tool.

Put the part number into google.

Lots of stuff comes out, often Honda boat motor places, lots of
Honda special tools are used on all kinds of Honda motors.

I got a bunch of Honda special tools that way. Some came fast,
some came on a slow boat from China, but they all got here.

If you have a friendly dealer, he could probably get any special tool
with a part number. I heard some dealers were uninterested in ordering
special tools for customers, don't know why...

search this board for #s and options. for intance the Fork tool search for my posts, $8 electric heater element socket is the ID and OD needed, just have to grind the one end for the four tabs. people who have taken the swing apart indicate zero wear even at high mileage, some have stated bearing used are way over designed for their use, etc.
search my posts for the honda carb tool, a lower cost one used on homd's sport bikes works much better then the one on the valkyrie tech manual.
