Can anyone point me in the right direction regarding the color dementions for the saddlebags? I have a 1999 Orange and Black Valkyrie. Earlier this year, I purchased OEM Hard Saddlebags and had them painted all black. I would like to have the orange painted on but don't know the proper dementions (layout) measurements. Is there some sort of template?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Safe riding all!

When I had my bags painted, I had the painter follow the design and measurements of the design on the gas tank...this way it all seemed to flow together...the lower part of the bag designed seen is stock, with chrome trim added for detailing...hope this helps...

If you can't find someone willing to let you take measurements, it might pay you to purchase a demolished oem bag with enough paint to transfer the measurements carefully without haste. Then you could resell it.
I like the Interstate layout better even on standard/tourer. I had my Standard bags painted as Tourer model because they already had the two tone layout. The Tourer has a different layout, your choice.
