Can anyone confirm or deny that the bezel size on the speedo and tach remain constant for the standard through all years of production?

No. But have you looked at the parts fische to see if the Tach/Speedo stayed the same in all year models, and you will have your answer if they did.

This is the "other half" of Father Time here--
Don't have a fiche for these---have a crabby customer claiming that his--and only his!!!!---2003 speedo and tach don't fit an accessory part he bought. OR at least ONE of the items doesn't fit--they are identical.
So--how do I find such a fiche?
Is this something Honda could answer????
Thanks!!!!

Ooooookaaaayyyyy--
.hondapartshouse.com/oemparts/
The speedo and tach for the 2000 Valkyrie cruiser and the 2003 Valk cruiser ( the only ones I am concerned with this instant) are the SAME according to the easily searchable micro fiche at the above
Much easier to use than the ron ayers site (or so I found)
IF I KNOW the part fits our 2000 then I am pretty sure it will fit the SAME model speedo/tach on the 2003.

The only difference I've seen is the colour of the backlighting. Don't know which years are what except my 2000 Tourer has red lights.

Yes. Which is why I said if they match, then they do.
If they don't match, then it might just be like you said, a difference in the color. Doesn't mean for most purposes that they aren't the same. Fit would be.
