Could anyone with a Standard or Tourer kindly confirm the headlight bucket size?  Not the front trim, but the bucket itself.  I saw somewhere (can't find it now) that is was 9".  But I think that is in error;  cannot find any 9" buckets or lights on ebay...  except for obvious errors: a 9" bucket on an XS650 laugh... really?

I think it might be a more common 7"?  That would make sense, but seems hard finding numbers...

The diameter of the bucket, as you call it, is 9".  The diameter of the headlight is 7".  There is a lot of chrome on these babies.

Do you need a head light bucket? I have one that went to a 98 standard.

Brian,
Dang.
I should have thought to ask here.  Just made an offer (accepted) on ebay for $60.
I'll see what it looks like when it gets here; would not be the first time an ebay deal was a waste...
I'll get back to you either way.
Regards.
