I just got my Mc cruise control for my F6B.
We will have to see how this goes. It will be quite a project
wish me luck on this one.
I am getting old and it my take a while.
The instructions make it look easy.
As you all know the hardest part is all the tupper ware that you
need to remove.

My brother RJ I pray you are right. I do have to laugh about all
instructions that they send. They are the best with pictures and all.
This will be one of those projects that will take a few days.
It will be like eating an elephant, you know one bite at a time.

Oh, one other thing, earth mean ground wire.

I put mine on MGM in the cold garage the day after Christmas.     Took me about 4 hours to read and do, read again and do the next step.

If my memory is good, the instructions were like 80+ pages and pictures.

Got it installed, pretty much plug and play and it worked right out of the box.

I currently have around 200K miles on it and it still holds + or - 2 to 3 mph from set speed.    I am so glad I didn't go with the car one everybody has to modify to get it to work.    That alone was worth the price of it.

Yes some are or can use the right controllers
In fact the instructions or their web site tells you what you
use to do that.
Story of my life the 2015model will offer cruise control.

cooldude That's the story of anyone who buys a new motorcycle ,car, or I-Phone  or.... coolsmiley

I was pretty sure, given the complaints, that Honda would add Cruise if they brought back the F6B. I got a good deal so I'm fine. How long would I have had to wait in order to get a similar deal on a 2015? Of course, I may have been willing to pay a little more, and I'm sure Honda is betting that sales will increase with the addition of the cruise.

still holds + or - 2 to 3 mph from set speed.

It should hold within 1-2MPH or less.

I'm still new to this but one setting controls how much throttle is applied when you first engage (initial pull), one controls how far from speed the unit is allowed to wander away, and another setting controls how aggressive the bike returns back to speed.

All this relies on the right slack adjustment between the black tube and your throttle.

I'm still messing with mine to get it good.

Will be installing it this weekend with the help of an
F6B forum member. I have been so blessed to have met such great
people through this and other forums dealing with bikes.

I have the install instructions on a PDF file and I am trying to
Find a way of posting them.
They are the best I have ever gotten from a manufacturer.
