Has anyone figured out a way to hold up leather saddlebags?    I was thinking about maybe cutting 2 strip of metal about 6" long and sandwiching the bag and drilling 2 holes and bolting the 2 strips together and making a couple brackets to attach to the strips that would hang over the saddlebag rail keeping the bags from hanging to low and hitting the exhaust..
What do you think, any suggestions greatly appreciated. cooldude

Probably will work. More information as to bag manufacturer and model may yield more responses. FWIW
