Sorry I missed the ride Saturday.  Had my bike in the shop having it wired to tow a trailer.  The service tech ran the battery down checking the wiring, took the seat off to attach a battery charger, started the bike to let the alternator charge the battery, then knocked my bike over with it running.  Nothing like hot pipes landing on a seat to make a mess of things.  Haven't seen the bike.  He says nothing was damaged other than the seat got melted.  Oh well, I get a new seat out of the deal, on him.  But I still missed the ride.

Now, if I understand this correctly, you will be looking for a new Technican, right?   Better yet, learn how to do it yourself.  There are many many people on here willing to hep out another Brother...........

Doc

Check the bike over carefully.  Especially the engine guards, ends of the handlebars, saddlebags, etc for additional damage.  Scratches are damage in my book.
