7 bikes and riders. The roads were clear and the weather was fantastic. We even got a surprise visit from Buz. He rode up to Newcombs ranch with us . It was really great to see him. Rob was a little late so he caught up with us along the way. The Sizzler was really crowded but we manage a table. Over a 100 Asians show up by the bus load and took over most of the place. The waitress was really working her but off. After my ride I got to visit my cousin which I haven't see in 40 years or so. It was a day I'll always remember.

Thanks,
Dave

Dave, thanks again for organizing the ride. It was a perfect day for riding. Fun seeing all the Corvette's and Porsche's at Newcomb's. Looking forward to the next ride with the group.

As I went by the starting point on the way home I noted it was a 260 mile loop. Great ride Dave, Thanks

According to my brother I missed a great ride on Saturday. I'm working everyday and I'm tired. Oh well, I'll ride for two weeks straight in November in Brasil. Look on You Tube, Serra do Rio do Rastro, that's where I'll be. I have Rodolfos 2013 Goldwing at my disposal to ride as long as I want. I'll also attend the Fazedores de Chuva 10th annual meeting at Dolor and Angela's ranch. So far about 160+ people will be there. WE'RE GONNA BARBEQUE!!

I'll post of my sacrifices when I get there.

It was fun to see some old friends like Dave and Greg and Joe, and the newer members too.

Nice to meet Rich, and  Richard, and Steve...Hope i got the names right.

So many great memories from riding with this group over the years.

What great weather for the ride.

Thanks again for all of the work you've put into the club, Dave.

Want to thank Dave for organizing another great ride.  I may have traveled a couple of miles further than most did but it was worth it!  Got to meet and share the wind with more great SoCal members.

After leaving the group following lunch at Sizzler, I headed south on SR38 over Onyx Summit at 8,443 ft and then down to 79 and a quick ride to San Diego via the I-15 super slab.  I noticed that the difference between the ride up to Big Bear on SR18 and my trip down SR38 was traffic.  Unlike the never-ending stuck behind cars going up, I had almost zero issues with them dang cars.  It was just me and the road.

After spending the night with my son and his family in SD it was off to home the following morning.  I want to thank Wayne (One Way) for the tip on the cool vest.  That thing saved me a lot of grief while crossing the desert. Lips Sealed

RichW_  1100 miles total.  I'm ready to saddle up and do it again.
