Been reading up on rear tires up front and like the more mileage part. I also would like to keep the 150/80/17 stock size. So far in looking all I have found in a rear 150/80/17 is the Bridgestone Exedra G701 Radial. Anyone know about this tire, or using it up front?  Is there more choices? Thanks Firefighter

I am running the 404 rear up front and reverse direction.  Went from Tampa to the Arctic Circle and back.  Still has plenty of tread left.  It performed well in the heat, cold, snow (slush), mud, and deep loose gravel.  I am at about 13K miles on it.  Previous tire was a Metz 880.  No regrets.

I've got 2k on a Michelin Activ 150/70 rear. Liking it just fine. Put it on in reverse, but haven't got any wet weather riding yet. Much better than the metzler that was replaced.

14k miles on a Metzeller 130/90/17 ME88 , run in regular rotation at 42psi and has some cupping but still going strong . all types of weather seems same as a regular tire .

The Bridgestone tire you posted 150/80/17 is a front tire, I've tried it and it's lousy in my opininon, I'm running a Bridgestone rear tire up front size 150/70/17R Battlewing, I really like this tire, plenty of rubber and adds 1 inch extra contact to the road...being a little smaller in diameter it does effect the speedo by 5 miles per hr., but is no problem....I'm using a Austone on the rear with this tire and it handles better then the OEM tires in the curves, for me and I live in the mts. of S.West Virginia...$124 delivered to the door from Jake Wilson Tires.

I'm on my 2nd D404 130/90-17 bias rear. Only 3mm shorter than stock, and the first one got me 24380 miles.

That mileage is good news cooldude

I'm running the D404 rear reversed on two of my Valks.

When the third Valks Avon runs out, I'm getting another.
