We made it back safe and sound from our trip to Alcatraz. Had a great time and got to ride some roads I haven't been on before. We stayed in Atascadero the first night. Greg's sister lives there and his brother was visiting from Missouri . So they had a nice visit. Toured Alcatraz the second night. Did the tourist thing in Frisco and then went down Skyline Drive to Alice's Restaurant . That was awesome ! Missed the turn on to Hiway 9 and man o man Hiway 35 turned into a goat trail ! After about 10 miles we stopped and looked at the map and turned back. Found a short cut that took us to Los Gatos and then back to the 101. That was some cool riding, glad we did it. Cut across 152 to Fresno and saw a maroon & cream Tourer coming out of a farm road (anybody on here ?) Spent the night in Bakersfield and then back home the next morning. Had a great time ! I would post some pictures but I'm still not smart enough to figure it out tickedoff. Hope to make the ride planned for November.

Glad your home safe. Wayne, John, Carl and I did that road a few years ago. Your right there is some great riding in that area. A year later John and I stopped at Alice's for a look around. Some some great bike's and a really wild electric bike this guy built by hand.

Ride safe,
Dave
