Anyone know if the Harley Quick Release system from Harley can be modified to fit Valk Interstate... or other quick release options... thanks,   Hox

You could just Super-Valk yours and save a ton of money.

I super valked my Interstate.  It literally takes 5 minutes to remove the trunk.

You remove the tail light and brake lights when you remove the trunk from the Interstate.

I'm pretty sure that's why most people add the tail light from the Standard or Tourer to their Interstate.

Speaking of...

Are there any good guides for making a Super-Valk, offhand? I've tried searching on here, but not finding much.

Like the OP, I'd like to do a quick-release on the trunk with a tail/brake lamp of some sort down below. Is a Std/Tour lamp the best bet, or has anybody used something different (Kury/HD/Etc)? Anything that has been tried and failed?

There are some posts here somewhere about how to do it with very detailed instructions.
As far as tail light a standard would be easiest because the rear fender already has a factory hole for mounting the standard/tourer taillight.

To the OP, I did some more searching and found a photo site with step-by-step pictures on an inexpensive removable trunk. It's not quite as fast as an HD quick-release, but I'm guessing it's 10% of the price.

Less than 10% all you need is a tail light  and to wire it into existing harness.

Search works much better when you hyphenate "Super-Valk"  Grin
