Helped me decide on going double darkside, after discovering the available choices aren't that radically different from OEM. Looks doable.
I just ordered a Bridgestone BT45 V 150/70 17, I mainly chose it over the Michelin Pilot Activ V in same size because the BT45 was $105 shipped from Revzilla. If I get good handling and twice the wear I get from an Avon Cobra I'll be plenty happy.
