The Landmass Between Mobile And New Orleans

« on: August 13, 2009, 09:49:14 AM »

When I bought Sandman, the previous owner had installed Kuryakyn highway pegs with the ergo mounts on the lower engine guard mount.  I find them really uncomfortable since my legs stick out at angle and I have to twist my ankle to put my feet on the pegs.  I would like to move them to the angled part of the mount; unfortunately, the clamps are too big.  Since I've already got the pegs, I'd like to just buy the quick clamps and the arm.  I just don't know what size clamp and which arm to get.

Like this?  That bar is 1".  Notice the 1-1/2" extension in the peg.  Moves it out a little to keep from burning my legs.

Pretty much.  That's kinda like Warlock and some others have on their Valks.  Thanks Steve.  Sandman is at my Mom's house right now and I'm a couple of hours away, so I couldn't just go out and measure the bar.
