Hey Guy's, doing a rode trip on the Valks in November. We will be heading up to the Mooresville area of NC. Really don't want to run the Big roads all the way up if I don't have to.

So I am reaching out to my well traveled friends here for some input as to how we should go.
I still want to make decent time, but I rather it be more scenic than all Highway.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and can you actually route the trip out on a GPS to take you the suggested route. Never really did it that way, always just put an address in and went whichever way it took me. Thanks in advance  cooldude

We always run up 441.

You can choose to bypass the towns to get a little better time.

Probably adds 1 to 2 hours - depending on your stops but worth it in my opinion.

I was looking at where you want to go on MapQuest and having never done this route, but looks like 301 out of Fl to 321 in Ga would send you near where you want to go in N.C. take a look.  441 is nice too, it is 4 lane and joins 129 just N of Milledgeville Ga and changes to 23 but you might have to do superslab across to Charlotte area.
