Just finished the bike a little while ago, fired it up, sounds wicked. I like it, possibly can drown out Murphys Harley.  Evil

Cool Bill.
I'm curious how yours sounds with the mufflers being twice the length of my 9" Cherry Bombs. Is it deeper?
Mine are a little too high pitch for me (earplugs) I would like to go with longer mufflers some day, now that I have longer cans to cover them.  Can't wait to hear them. cooldude

Managed to get about 40 miles this eve between the showers, Pipes are loud, accelerating, not bad cruising at a steady speed. Definitely a deep tone, a little popping on decel but not bad. But the good part my butt o meter says we gained some horse power, it is a lot quicker doing a roll on on the throttle.
I am as happy as if I had good sense.

I know you don't have any vacuum leaks on that hand built Valkyrie and I know you re-torqued the header bolts.
  What do you think?
Could it be running leaner now? You running a K&N filter? Pre filter? I wound up turning out my screws some and shimming my needles. Runs like a monster, no popping, great gas mileage.

Stock filter, I was getting 37 mpg before the change. I will check the mileage this weekend. Popping is not bad, only when I drop gears slowing down. I think it is about normal for the style of mufflers.
