If any one is going to the AIMExpo, I have 4 free admission tickets good for 1 day general admission.
I am not going, so if you can use these, drop me a message with an address and I will mail them to you. They are good for any day, Oct 18th or 19th.

Grumpy, we'll take two if you have any left. We already bought 2 but we're having some relatives from Ohio visit and they'd like to go, too. (We just won't let anyone at the show know he's a Harley guy.)

Thanks, Grumpy!  I thought I sent one IM but I don't think it worked (they really need to update this board).  But I will definitely send again.  The visitor is Todd's brother so we are going to teach him the error of his ways in owning a Harley bagger as we walk through the expo. So many nice Valks here in Florida that he could be buying!

No problem, just did not want them to go to waste.

My son and I are going to ride up from West Palm tomorrow and go to the Expo. I figure we'll get there about 11am. We plan to stay a few hours then ride back late afternoon. My son is a pretty new rider and wants to make some long trips with me. This will be a good intro to a little longer ride for him .. about 200 miles each way with some sight-seeing in between. Would love to meet anyone else who is going.  My cell is five six one -598-2988.

Hey there, Texan!
Will be there but on Sunday, not Saturday.
Lesa and I will head out early and get there in the AM. Lots of things there to see from Manufacturers to Aftermarket.

Wish I could join you two, just can't manage it at the moment. If you're feeling adventurous, you're more than welcome to stop by the house. Take I-4 to the 408 expressway, east to SR436 exit and north about 3.5 miles.

Went today.  In the words of old Ed Sullivan a  really big shoe.  I must have walked five miles in side the convention center.  There were some really sharp classic bikes on display and a few really sharp classic women advertising accessories.
The parking lot would have made a great pic if only I had my camera.  There must have been close to 800 bikes in the lot when we left around 2.

Now....imagine about that same number but all Valkyries. That's what the early InZanes were all about.

Now that would have been impressive John.
Heck I was impressed with the 300 or so at Inzane this year.

Lesa and I went over today. Rode over this morning and what a great morning to ride....even if only on super slabs.
When we got to the parking lot it looked as if there were at lease the 800 or so bikes in the lot that Roger mentined, if not more!
We made it through the complete show, row by row. Lesa now has her own Air Hawk seat to sit on. She tried on a ton of helmets due to hers having a pressure point in it that will not go away and sub standard ventilation.
Also, talk about luck.....she tried on several pairs of gloves and one of the gloves managed to slide a diamond ring of hers right off her finger. Wasn't noticed until much later. We cruised back to each place she tried on gloves at and at the last place she found the glove and the ring was still in it..........whew!
Tried to find a good deal on tires for the Max but there were no better deals offered through any dealer working the show. Oh well.
All in all a great venue to me. Enjoyed walking around it and could have spent more time there.

We went to the show on Saturday and were surprised at the number and quality of vendors. We only covered half the inside exhibits but there was a good variety of cruiser and off-road stuff. Being a practiced hand at trade shows, I found the most comfortable shoulder bag and set off collecting sweet swag from the vendors. I'm almost embarrassed to say this but Todd test-rode an Ultra-Classic Screaming Eagle ... but only because his brother made him do it. They were able to ride about 4 miles on the demo bikes, some of it on the slab.  He gave a thumbs up on the modern brake system but added that it would take a tube of liquid nails to get a nickel to stand upright on the valve cover.  Grin
Definitely an expo worth attending next year. Give yourself lots of time though as one of the vendors said they are adding lots more exhibit space.

Now for some pics:

The new Ninja H2 ... not even street legal at 300 HP. They don't give you a title, only a certificate of ownership.  Can't see it in this photo, but the seat wraps around the rider to keep him from slipping off the back when he guns the throttle.

Todd tries out the new KLR 650.

Now, about those young ladies that ReclaimRoger mentioned...this one had on more clothes than most (but don't let that be the reason you attend next year).

I sure don't know where she got all those clothes.  The ones I saw sure couldn't find those big of garments.
