That is 28.341 mpg. Conservative riding. It was getting 34+ then it just dropped. Replaced vaccum hoses. They where bad. No help. Still runs as great as always. Fuel milage just took a dump. Set the pilots and calibrate?  And see what happens? Thanks.

Check your intake runners...  Between the carbs and the metal runner, is a rubber tube, with two hose clamps, one on the carb end, and one on the runner end.  They do get lose.  Also look for signs of intake 'O' ring leaks, where the runners meet the heads.  A quick way to check if they are leaking, is to spray some carb cleaner right at the base of the runners, while the engine is running.  Any change in RPM, or a puff of white smoke, and you've found a leak.

Happy hunting.

Just when the highway straightened out for a mile
And I was thinkin' I'd just cruise for a while
A fork in the road brought a new episode
Don't you know...

Conform, go crazy, or ride a motorcycle...
