I am thinking we will go Saturday. Maybe get some lunch there. We always watch Jerry (Motoman) and his wife do the demo's. Not sure if we'll get a hotel or trailer the bike considering the distance. Gil |

If the weather doesn't return to blazing hot, we can go Sat, the 11th. We've been wanting to go to a restaurant in Tarpon called Rusty Belly's so we might try that too since we're in the neighborhood. Depends on how good--or not--the food is at the show.

Rusty Belly's is ok, nothing to write home about. The best restaurant in Tarpon Springs in my opinion is Hellas. I have been going there for 20yrs and it's always Awesome Greek Food. |

Thanks for recommendation, Bronx. There was a plethora of Greek restaurants near Chicago where we grew up, but no authentic ones in Polk County. I miss them. Those folks know how to run a restaurant. Always good food with good service.

Gawd, that brings back memories, when I first came to Florida in 1971, I lived at that place. I was working at anclote marine building the Milwaukee II, I did the engine installations and most of the wiring. I worked there for about 9 months, and lived on stuff from the bakery there, Greek bread, goats cheese and olives. Had that for lunch most days and ate supper in the restaurant. The wife and I lived in a 36 foot houseboat moored by alt 19. The boat was my brothers. Had a good time there, and lots of memories.

My boat is down there at Turtle Cove Marina, so I am down there a lot. Maybe one day we can have a ride to Tarpon and a boat ride as well.  |

So Jerry and Sherry are doing breakfast in Brooksville before Cottee River Meet. We talked about us meeting on 52 in Hudson at the McDonalds and driving into the meet as a group. So we figured meeting at 11 AM or so then heading down Little road to Main street via Massachusetts & Rowan. I normally park in the Church lot near Circle Blvd and Central Ave just east of the lake. From there we walk over to the park.

I usually park in the general area of the front of the church on the circle, not sure if the church would frown on using the parking lot., have a few coming bcoy and murphy & a firnd of Murphy Bob. will be with me.
