It could also be how your browser handles cookies.

I have the same thing going on Rod.  I use firefox and it started a while ago, was real bad then got less restrictive.  I was wondering if it happened with an update.  I reset my user permissions (?? not sure if I have the correct terminology) and it made it some better but even though I have the stay logged in forever button checked etc. I still come in and have to click the login box.

If anyone knows the answer I wold be interested in getting this back to the way it was.

From my PC laptop, I was having a similar problem with having to re-loginon certain sites, plus other issues. Somewhere along the way I caught a virus or something real nasty.....Google searches were being redirected and all sorts of weird behavior. Finally the 'puter would not even boot up. Had to start with a clean slate and start from scratch....lost all my files, pics included. Fortunately, I had "Carbonite" online back up and was able to recover almost everything. Now, my laptop is running great again.

Hope you don't have to go through that to get yours straightened out!!!!! crazy2

I know I ran into this problem with Firefox after installing new Norton Anti-virus.  My fix was as follows:

On the Firefox toolbar, under “Tools” click “Options...”

On the Options pop-up go to “Privacy”

Under “Private Data” uncheck “Always clear my private data when I close Firefox”

Of course this may not be your problem at all, but it certainly is something to check (and check the “Settings” while you are there).

Also, when you clean your computer with most anti virus/ antispam programs it clears all the cookies and history
from your computer. Check your program to see if your can exclude certain cookies from being cleaned.
