I know I mentioned this before, but I think it's time I actually put the 2005 Rocket III up for sale.  If you want to go fast now like I do this is the bike for you unless you just want to sit cramped up on a crotch rocket.  I can take/send pictures and details.  Many additions to the stock bike that I bought in 2006 used with very few miles on it by the original owner, I think it was like 300 or so.  D&D performance pipes with the full power tune.  225/60-R16 Bridgestone rear tire.  Valkyrie bars, I didn't like the OEM hand position.  Floorboards and crashbars added as well as a clearview larger shield on the OEM framework. 23,xxx miles.  2298cc of power that you had better be ready for when you crank the throttle.  140 HP and 148 ft./lbs. torque.  Fuel injected no carbs to worry about.
I know how much is invested and everything that has been done to it as I did all of it except put the tune in and that was done by Streit's Honda in Gainesville and put the car tire on the rear rim.  There is no dish in the center of the rear rim so I had an independent shop in Lake City put that one on for me.  Some of the Rocket III's in this year range had problems of one sort or the other, this one does not have nor has it ever had any of those problems.
I have some other hobbies that I want to use the funds for.  I think a fair price is $8500.  If you want to come ride it bring your checkbook prepared to write one for what I am asking or no rides.  If you don't want it when you get back I will give you your check back.
I wanted to give my fellow Florida Valkyrie riders first dibs before putting it on the classifieds or cycle trader.
three 8 six 4 six 6 six 4 five 0 if you want to call.  It's the one in the picture on the left set up solo with Corbin seat and backrest.  I have all of the Original parts, seats, pipes, handlebars, etc.

The Rocket III is one of the "would like to have ALSO" in my garage.... but it's not an "instead of" my Valk. Sure would be interested if my wallet was fatter. Good luck in finding a loving new owner.  Cool

Diane you can get into trouble real quick if you are not careful.  Mike not giving up riding, just hope to make a couple of changes.  I see you made one recently, I have been following that thread too. Smiley

UH-OH............. Maybe another F6B in our midst?????

Inquiring minds want to know.

As a Valkyrie owner, former Rocket III owner, & an F6B owner I would say the F6B is in-between fast of a Valkyrie & the absolute shock & awe fast of the R3.  uglystupid2

Terry good luck selling the Rocket III.  I'm sure there is somebody out there that will really enjoy the thrill that machine gives.
Glad you are still going to be riding the Valks.
Hope to see you on a ride soon.
We will be in FL by the middle of next week.
See you at Jerry and Sherries.
