and Bob and Mike. Had a nice ride today down to Bert's place and back. I think it was around 170 miles round trip. Got the new fork seals in. Had lunch with Bert and Bob. That sure is going to be a nice looking purple bike when Bert gets all of those pieces back together in one bunch. His starter gears are snaggletoothed right now.
Iris's 98 sure did run good and smooth today. It was 45 when I left at around 0800. First time for the cold gear this fall. We won't be at the pizza partay, got an amateur radio Hamfest in Jacksonville. Kinda like a yard sale but kinda organized.

Good on you boys for helping a man out! Sorry you won't be making the Pizza-Partay Terry. Been forever since we saw y'all. Gets pretty chilly up that way I see. I sure am loving the cool weather!

Oh and of course she washed it when I got home. She said that she found a fingerprint somewhere.

Hey Bert I must have seen at least half a dozen vendors peddling those lithium batteries at the AIMExpo. Claiming three or four times the life of lead acid batteries. And they were all more expensive that the one on ebay.

Sure surprised me when Bob handed me that battery. You would have to put a block of wood or Styrofoam underneath it to get the cables to reach though. It would probably increase your gas mileage too because it was so much lighter. I actually thought it was an empty plastic case until I pressed the test button and it indicated full charge.
