The Licence Plate That never Was
«

When I bought the Valk 14 years ago ( I can't believe it's been that long, that went fast) I was thinking about a custom licence plate. I wound up with F6VALKR. Here is a picture of the plate I was contemplating. In the end I thought it might bring more trouble then it was worth but it sure could have been fun. At the time the DMV said I could have it.

Greg, when I got my Yellow Valkyrie, it had "Hardly Davidson" on the tank. Didn't want the drama when riding with HD riders. It's off the tank now, but was an interesting conversation starter for awhile. -- Emer

Haha.. wow I can just imagine the remarks you guys would get from plates and stickers like that...
HD guys are some of the most prideful bunch I've ever met, but they're cool to shoot the crap with.
I wouldn't put a sticker like that on my stuff only because i dont want someone messing w my bike when i'm gone.

Mine says, "THRUD".
For those not up on Norse mythology, and really, who is, she was a Valkyrie princess.
Daughter of Thor. A Davidson guy made a comment like, "Whats that, thrud away"??
He kept up most of the way through second.
