Riding to Salt Springs Rec Area U.S. 19 about noon, Last time there was granted free admission for an hour, we will ogle at the clear water springs and huge mullet jumping for an hour or so then head west on 316 to NE 160th ave rd. to Lake Ocklawaha for more ogle'ng. No plans to eat anywhere just riding so far.. ! has anybody been on the dirt road side that goes out to U.S. 19 ? I may try this as to familiarize myself more with the C/T . Ride safe this weekend and bundle up some. cooldude

Mike you are most likely an experienced rider on dirt bikes etc.  I learned the hard way though when I bought my first motorcycle, it was a Honda CL100.  My friends were experienced and I was not.  After they noticed what I was doing as they were driving away from me, they stopped and gave me some good advice.  Keep the front wheel light in the sand or dirt.  Helped me a lot, I didn't fall down near as many times as I did going slow.  Wink

Nice day to ride with all your gear on. We did wind up on about 5 miles of washboard, very rough road even at 15 mph i was concerned parts would rattle loose, or a fuel line would come undone !! but I managed to keep her upright over that rattle trap. Liz has some video from the ride i hope to figure out how to post, for now here are some pics from today.

I Have Been Getting To Ride Some Now That I No Longer Have To Go For Anti-Biotic Injections Every Day And I No Longer Have To Baby-Set That Wound Vac.
