Hello, I'm looking for any Valk riders in my neck of the woods...central east FL..Brevard County...I've had my 99 Valk for several years and would like to get more involved with the "family" of local Valk riders. Anybody our there from here?

John

Welcome from Kissimmee

There are a couple of guys from your neck of the woods and I am pretty sure they will chime in.
Melbourne Dan and Sixlow are both on the east side of Central Florida.

Keep tabs on this board and join us for one of the weekend rides, there is one on the works for this coming Saturday. It is on the West side of Florida, it will make for a nice ride with great weather.

BTY. Post a pic of your Valk when you get a chance.

I'm in Winter Park, had my ride about 12 yrs. now. The Valk owners on the east coast are widely scattered, most seem to be central Fla. and west, some around Ocala. One in the Ocala area goes into hibernation when the temps drop below 80, comes alive when they approach 100. The rest of us are pretty normal....well, more normal than pretty.   2funny  Now that I think on it a bit, probably not too normal either.  crazy2

Keep checking the board here, it will have planned or suggested rides listed.

Welcome to our little corner of the sandbox John.   Cheesy  A lot of good people here. We have rides
almost every weekend to a place to eat kick tires and tell lots of lies. Hope to meet you some time.

Hello everyone and thanks for the big welcome! I saw the ride over on the west coast this weekend and the ensuing debate on where to eat...fried hotdogs got my attention too! Nice to see a few of you close to home here, but those a little further away make it a great excuse for a putt. I'll post a pic of my ride soon but from what I've seen of most everyone elses ride, it might not compare...I've got a little rust (so does the Valk), and a few areas in need of paint, but she rides pretty nice....looking forward to meeting you all at some point!

Welcome John. I'm Jeff Parker from Apopka. It really doesn't matter what your Valk looks like, mine is pretty Plain Jane too. We even let some Harley folks ride with us sometimes and now one of our members has a dang Indian!!  Grin Hope to meet you soon.

Welcome John, the advantage of being an "east coaster" is we have some miles to put on for most of these meets. Look forward to meeting ya. Most of my rides start off going west thru the Ocala forest, but my wife's parents live in Daytona and we ride there often as well. Maybe a gathering at Houligans at Destination Daytona would be a good place to get somefolks outa the woodworks.  cooldude

Hello John and Welcome . No need to be bashful cause your phat girl has  a few complexion problems . They are meant to ride more than look at . This is a good group of folks . Heck they even put up with me and my Goldwing tagging along.

Hi John from NSB.  we don't ride like we use to, but just heard from a guy on the west side of Deland that wants to ride with the "family" to.
I'll have to throw something together for us "east coaster".   I like sixlow's idea of daytona destination so that might work for others to.  we don't get to the west meets cause of leaving so early, so missing them to.
hope you can come up on the 14th or 15th to see the event and we can meet.  I have a IS Trike.

And from Orlando we welcome you john, don't worry about the look of your ride, our fellow riders here are the reason I try to attend these meets to see them. Great group of people.

Welcome John.

Nice to have another Valk rider so close. I am in Satellite Beach so hooking up for some local runs will work well. Just let me know when you want to burn some gas.

The club meet & eats are fun as well, great group of folks!
