That sounds great John wish we were closer so we could go with you. Its always great when the weather during winter months turns nice enough to get a little ride in.

I think that each time we can get a ride in we ought to take at least one picture and post it here for all to see. Put the month and the day it was taken. It would be like bragging rights for those that live in areas out here that cant do a lot of riding in winter. Smiley

Be sure and give a report about it.   Raymond

Easy, even I can do it.

UL (post) your pictures into photobucket.com

When you open a pic, there is 4 different "links" given, which you choose one, copy and past into this post editor. Hit the preview button, and if it comes up, you've done the right one.

If you post, and it isn't what you want, you can always modify the post, you don't need to start a new one.

IMG link is this one.
Riding back from Vegas in Apr 2010 with my new to me bike. Snow in Emigrant Pass, west of La Grande OR, but my Bro needed a bathroom break quickly, and we turned off into the park. You can notice the burnt out headlight bulb, snow on the lens.

There is also a way of adding in image size, and make the picture larger or smaller. This one is stock size.

It was fun and they are a very friendly bunch. 16 members and I am now a prospect. My wife likes the fact they are not only tolerant of lady riders but encourage them to ride.

Go to the Vermin web site, and the November meeting, and they are talking about Blood Initiation Writes for new members.   Undecided

My brother-in-law, was a Canadian Navel officer, became the youngest Full Lieutenant (at that time, early 80's) in Canadian History. Heard the stories of the crossing of the Equator.

Was always wondering it they still did that kind of stuff with the way hazing/bullying isn't tolerated any longer?

I'm not sure if they still do. I'd be curious to hear from some recent sailors.

I really enjoyed the ride with John & Gina after the Vermin meeting!

230 miles has highlighted a few issues with my riding gear and the bike setup. All fairly easy to fix... all except the butt calluses I'm going to need to keep up with those two.  Roll Eyes

We enjoyed sharing the breakfast table and look forward to riding with you. Try and make the Christmas party if you can.
