A wonderful state to ride in.
Thank you Taz (and Lloyd and Andy) for scouting out the area.
Bonnie and I each took video of the Dan Stocker 200 memorial ride friday just before we left for Baltimore.

We took 219 to 39 to 92 to 84 to 220 to 250 to 81, then I think 310 to 70 to 695 to 95 to 795 to Owings Mills.

The big surprise was the quality of the switchbacks on 250 going east as we cross over a succession of bodaceous switchbacks and ridgelines.  After riding the week they were no problem but certainly kept my attention.

The road from Cass Railroad to the top of Snowshoe mountain was also a real highlight as was 219 south of 39.

Anyone coming from Winchester next time 50 to 219 was also a real fun road, just took us all day as it wound back into MD from Va then south to WV.

Great people, good food and BBQ.  Great to see Wolf again and meet old and new friends.

Cant wait for wisconsin next year. Be nice if both ride ins piggy backed each other.

The VOA has always been a fun time...there were a few years that the VOA and VRCC were a couple of weeks apart and we would take off and go to one then put around until the next one. We always had a good time.....getting ready to leave in the morning...hurry up morning...I won't be able to sleep tonight...fb

Glad you had a great ride..and made it home safe..route 50 does hit maryland for a short peice..only because maryland dips way down in the western part of the state. even though you hit maryland you were still going west..not north to go threw it..even though it might have seemed that way.

Yeah, WV is a beautiful state to ride through. Rode down to Canaan Valley Resort , WV, last year and really enjoyed the ride. Judy and I are on Long Beach Island this week, otherwise I might have tried to make the ride to WV. Weather is great....water is warm....I'll post some pics when we get home.
