Left the house for long enough to head down to Boondocks to see the crew. Was good to get out and very good to see everyone. Many thanks for the kind words and thoughts on Lesa and her recovery. Very much appreciated and got a good smile out of her when I told her about all those who were asking.

Jeff McKay, kind of a long ride for lunch, eh? Looks like a good turnout, glad you had good weather for it. As for Lesa, hon....quit eating Pappy's cooking. Glad to hear you're on the mend.

Jerry, thanks again for leading us to a great eatin' joint and then some scenic backroads for dessert. Bronxboy, thanks for posting embarassing photos of me (no, the bandaid is not from brown-nosing at work). Now I'll know to run the other way whenever you and Pappy have a camera out. Here's a few photos of some new friends that joined us on todays' ride. Jeff and new ridin' buddy, Roy. Wish I had a better pic cause Roy's bike looked wicked-cool. He was aboard a BMW 1600 6-cylinder, 160 horse. Impressive! Lee and Deb, who for some strange reason are friends with Bronxboy. Again, wish I had a better pic of their bike as it was a retro-styled Harley. I know, I know, but it was really nice bike. Jeff and Earlene, who are neighbors of Jack's. Their bike deserves a couple pics cause of the impressive custom paint job.

Wow, what a great day for a long lunch ride. Got home at 6:00. Thanks to everyone for welcoming Roy with open arms. He said he had a good time and enjoyed the ride and people. We had a much nicer ride back by taking 33 south instead of 27. John you're right, it's a long ride for lunch (390 miles today) but I have a great time every time I do it. I wish you were able to make it but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Thanks to everyone who are posting pics, they're fun to see.

What a great day it was. Awesome weather and great to be around friends, new and old Special thanks to JERRY for leading us on some great back roads. He must do a lot of scouting of roads and places to eat, tough job but someone has to do it Jeff and Erlene say THANKS, they felt welcomed and enjoyed the day's riding and meeting all of you. Here are some pics to add to the ones already here

Sorry I missed that great ride. I ground down I-75 to Cape Coral to trade windshields with a guy down there. I'm happy with the windshield but the 150 down and 150 back on the superslab was sure not very enjoyable. Also when I left in the morning it was only 44 degrees. I would definitely enjoyed the ride you guys had much more.

I'm glad the windshield worked out for ya. After not having a "fat lady" for a year or two it will be nice to get this one (just purchased another one) going. She has a few kinks to work out. 2000 I/S 75,000 miles...

Hey Chuck at least the ride home was more comfortable with the taller windshield. Not to mention the temp being about 30 degrees warmer.
