Ok What I'm looking for is someone with a set of OEM leather saddlebag brackets that would please give me the dimensions and measurements so that I can make a set.
I have a couple 5/8 SS rods, if thats not to big to use? If it's to big I have some smaller rolled steel that I can use.

Thanks,

I don't have the dimensions,, but I can say that making them from 5/8 would be an overkill,,, that said,, they would look killer made from 5/8 SS.

I think that unbraced saddle bag mounts are usually heat treated to resist bending and flexing, but I don't think that would be an issue with 5/8" rod.
