I borrowed that cat Bert had a while back and look what it brought home. My wife Liz needed a ride to get started on and after numerous visits to dealers looking at used 750's all done up for over 3500 bucs i followed the advise of our fellow members and got her talked into this 1100 for 2 grand even. great score i think with 24k on clock, new metzlers front and back, mustang seats, this kickass custom paint, and the not so wanted Vance Hines pipes. (anybody got stock exhaust leads for me ?).Custom bars with risers.  It needs a good detailing  but i rode her and she felt good and strong, kind of small feeling from a Valkyrie rider but this is what she needs to get started, i was very surprised at how easy the slow speed handling was. the shifter was too smooth, no clank that is common on the Valk and the feet positioning is more forward than we are used to. So here she is. oh custom rear fender with tombstone light as well.

Congratulations On The New Bike For Liz. I Am Sure She Will Enjoy Riding This Bike For A While, At Least Until She Gets The Confidence To Ride The Valkyrie, Then You Will Be in Trouble, LOL.
It Is A Great Bike At A Great price, Especially For A Starter Bike.

Nice bike.   cooldude

I do not know if that exhaust will accept real mufflers, probably one piece (long shots, straight shots, noisy-ass shots).  Look for a set of stock exhaust, people who go aftermarket usually do so right away, and often leave the perfect stockers at the dealer/installer.  Maybe ebay or craigslist.  Also, find an 1100 Honda forum (maybe Delphi) and look at for-sale or post a wanted-to-buy.  Also check local SCRC forums.  Maybe Pinwall Cycle.

Most people don't rejet carbs with just an exhaust change (without air kit upgrade), did the seller say he had rejetted?

BTW,  I had a Memphis Shades Big Shot - (sport shield with decent coverage) on my Mean Streak (more aerodynamic than the traditional Fats).  In gradient black, which would look great on that bike.

Totally awesome and the cops are chasing you for steeling it!   Wow,  I'll bet you are going to sneak rides on it. I know I have fun on Sherrys 1100 Shadow.

Lookin good there Liz.  Iris started out on one too.  Mike you might need to find her some stock handlebars too.  They look a little wide spaced for her arm length.

Beautiful machine.
Enjoy it Liz.  If you can keep Mike away from it.

Thanks all for the Congrats, Liz says Thanks as well. I think I found the exhaust on craigslist locally but the guy hasn't responded to the emails yet. It did seem quick but I had slowed to 25 or 30 without downshifting and realized right away it is not a flat 6. ! That's o.k. though just what she needs. I need to do a service to it before we go much further with it and a blinker needs a bulb and the horn isn't working. All little things so far. I think she will be a good adition to the ever growing fleet.! I will post pics of Liz riding it soon. Thanks
