Interesting convergence product. I don't have any experience using a smartphone with gloves. I've seen a few light gloves advertised as touch screen friendly but not motorcycle gloves let alone heated motorcycle gloves. That could be an issue.

I'd have to get a smartphone first and that is not likely to happen.

I wouldn't be playing with my phone while riding. What interests me is the possibility of having my heated gear output adjusted as a function of speed and/or temperature.

I use the Warm and Safe heat with the wireless controls. I find that I tweak it regularly. My wife likes to have her own control as well.

I replaced my fusebox with a programmable breaker box last year, it has been great so far. PDM60 is programmable, not via smart phone (good thing, I have a dumb fone), but by hooking it to your laptop (or whatever) with a USB cord... -Mike "60, as in 60 amps"

If the roads are dry and ice-free, I prefer to RIDE! Even when all the woosies have switched to four wheels.

You live in the frozen north, you probably can't ride there a lot of the time even if you want to... Down here, where it gets cold but not so frozen, we can ride all year -Mike "bwa ha ha ha"

Currently only works with an iphone.
I also wonder if you need data to have things like Loc, temp, etc, to work. Also, will it work in both countries, USA and Canada.
$300. Do I really need this.

If you do not require the cell to work, then a used older one could be had for cheap. Friends, family, CL, I used to sell my old unwanted cells for $25 instead of throwing it into the recycle bin at the stores. A smart phone might cost a little more, maybe $100.

I don't want a lot of extra electrical items on my valk . Heated clothing , never tried it . The Valkyrie is perfect the way it is . That cool new device looks to complicated for me .
