I am at Dolor and Angela's home in Itajai, Santa Catarina, Brasil. I have been here since the 11th of November. I came down to attend the 10th annual meeting of the "Fazedores de Chuva" (Rainmakers) Meeting on the 15th. We had a wonderful time. About 250 members attended including Elton and Marcia, Rodolfo, Rogerio, Nestor and Mabel. It was so good to see so many of my friends here in Brasil. Only 2 people from California. I return home Saturday.

Tonight I will take Dolor and Angela out to dinner to a very nice local restaurant. This past weekend we rode to a wedding about 600 miles away in a town called Foz de Iguacu (Iguacu Falls) where Brasil, Argentina and Paraguay meet. We then rode to a spectacular national park called Serra do Rio do Rastro. What an incredible ride. Look it up on YOUTUBE.

A person couldn't hope to have better friends than the friends I have here. Great hosts, generous, hospitable and warm. They feed you good too!! I cannot thank you enough for all you have done to make my stay here such a wonderful time! If anyone ever has the change to visit this country and to meet some wonderful people here, DO IT!

 Beijos and Happy Thanksgiving!

GCFC Mike, it's a wonderful pleasure to have you here at our home, and you didn't leave yet to your home, and we  already are missing you!
It was nice to celebrate this Thanksgiving with you in a Brazilian way, but still full of emotions, and share the lane with you inland of the states of Parana and Santa Catarina was unforgettable.
We hope to have you and the friends from SoCal here at my home reminding that our home doesn't have doors for all of you.
The music of Fazedores de Chuva says:
"The life is short.
Do what you want to do."
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Mike/Dolor,

Sounds like you guys had a wonderful time and I look forward to riding together again so that we get to hear all about it first hand. Now that I'm retired, I hope to take a much closer look at South America than just an atlas.
