We bought Gregs Red/Black 1999 I/S today and just in time for tomorrows ride as I went to move my black I/S today and found one of the front brake cylendars frozen creating its own parking brake.  So she is apart. This is me on it a year ago when I first told him I wanted it.   Valks they are amazing bikes!!!

CONGRATS on your new ride Jerry  cooldude

Win-win situation for all.

You get to have a Valk that matches your helmet
Greg gets to sell his Valk
Valk gets to stay in the family

Even your outfit matches.  Keep the red shirt and black vest handy.

That's not an "outfit"...that's "mens riding gear".

Very nice score there Jerry, sounds like your new Ghurl doesn't like change, has an attitude, and is giving you the silent treatment.! We know this will pass soon and she will become your Beauty Queen. Good luck with her.  cooldude

When I bought my Green-Silver IS several years ago I "really" wanted a Red-Black I/S the most. I couldn't find one close enough to save my life, closest one I found was in Nashville. TN. Several have been available recently of course. I still believe they are the prettiest color combo. Greg's is a beautiful bike and glad it worked out for both of you. Congratulations! So...how do you decide which one to ride when you have two of the same thing?? Inquiring minds want to know!

One stays at home if we want to run out for coffee and the other stays at the cottage for the club rides.. So it depends on where we are
