Finally got around to posting some pics of Saturday's event.

It was an awesome day, beautiful weather and a sea of cars.
I could not see them all, I think we walked through half or a little over half of the whole thing.

Left home at 6:30am, 46 degrees and a lot of layers, including my pirate chaps  Grin
I was going to do a selfie but I know better than to post pics here  Evil 2funny

Met up with a couple of friends along the way and had breakfast before getting to the madness.

Got to the speedway at 9:15 and found the motorcycle parking right by one of the main entrances, that was great  cooldude

As you can see, there was not too many motorcycles when we first got there.

My Phat Lady in the middle of two friends good looking Harleys.

First car that caught my eye  Cool

And I absolutely love this Chevelle

Scooby Doo Van
1964 Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier Deluxe Sport Package.
Owned by John and Gail Policela and future van of daughter Alyssa.
Was talking to the mom for a little bit and she was saying that they have always taken her daughter to this shows, ever since she was born.
Alyssa loves to come to this shows and she enjoys staying inside the van talking to everyone that comes around, explaining to them that she is in a countdown for her 18th birthday, when she will be the owner of the van, she is now 9 years old. cooldude

Dodge SRT, V-10 with Blower AND a couple of Nitrus bottles behind the seat  Grin

And by the time we left, there was a few more motorcycles in the parking lot  cooldude

It was an awesome day, look forward to next year.

Love that early 50's bright red cabover pickup. Would fit in my driveway real nice....wonder if Rita would notice it?!?   Cheesy  And that black Merc, not sure what year('49 or '50) since the front has been changed with the DeSoto grill but sure brought back some memories. Had a baby blue '50 4-door back in the mid-50's, one of the few cars I wish I still had.

Hey Jack I'm with John on the cab over. Those have always caught my eye even though they don't appeal to everyone. That's a loooong wheel base rat rod too.
Thanks for posting the pics.

Nice pictures Jack, thanks for sharing. Lots of rides I would love to call "MINE"! Why would any one blow and gas a Dodge pick-up? To each his own I guess.  ???

John and Jeff.

That cabover would definitely have to be parked in the driveway cause there is no way it would fit in the garage  Grin

Jo K,
I was watching for you guys also but missed you guys.
You are right, it was chilly in the morning, I happen to like it that way  Grin

Jeff Parker
I know what you mean on the Dodge truck but when you go to a place like this, there are a lot of what I call "WHY NOT" vehicles.
People come up with some weird and unique ideas, some very creative and some that make you scratch your head  ???

Sherrie And I Went Over To The Turkey Rod Run On Friday And It Was A Beautiful Day To Look At The Awesome Vehicles On Display. I Didn't Take Any Pictures But We Had A Great Time. There Was A  Black Divco ( Cabover Type),Milk Truck With Red Mural Type Stripes Down The Side ,That Light Up, That Was Awesome.

This Divco Belongs To The Owner Of A Local Body Shop Here In Ocala.
