'00 Interstate Width

I know....crazy question. But we are looking at a house that has a full basement and would like to know if I will be able put the Valk in the basement. Would love to get it out of storage and have it at home. I would measure it myself but she is put away for the winter offsite.
If anyone knows, or wouldn't mind giving me a quick read with a tape measure, I would surely appreciate it.
Thanks

Right off hand I don't know the measurement, but I can tell you it will not fit thru a std 36 inch exterior doorway (pretty sure, even if you remove the doors). It might make it through if you hit the doorway centered at say 15mph, but you won't like the results.
An interstate with bag rails is wider than one without.
EDIT:
OK, I just went out and measured. It's hard getting an accurate measurement in the rear (with no help) because the bags (with or without rails like mine) are widest at mid bag, not at the rear. But it looks like somewhere between 33 and 34 inches. However, the fairing is a solid 37+ inches wide. The fairing will come off with a little work. So maybe it can go thru a 36" door if your remove the door and storm (if any) and fairing.
Do you have more than a 36" door to work with?
Custom 42" exterior doors are available (commercial slab steel, not fancy fiberglass with windows front doors) and would be the way to go..... bring money and a good carpenter/and probably electrician.

Thanks for the reply......door is 36" and not planning to modify. And taking the fairing off, while not a major event, is not something I want to do again.....thanks for checking for me.....Guess I'll leave here in her heated storage until Spring. Thanks again.
