Dag, it has been a great "education" watching your trip through Europe.  My son, Aidan, and I enjoyed the pictures and we followed your progress on a map.  We can't wait for the video! Smiley

Thank you for sharing! cooldude

Major roads in Albania are in very poor condition. 200 miles in 14 hours  crazy2
Traveling by road throughout Albania is the most dangerous activity for locals and tourists. Vehicle accidents are the major cause of death, according to police statistics. Electricity shortages have resulted in sporadic blackouts throughout the country that can happen any hour of the day or night. Such outages affect traffic signals and street lights, making driving increasingly treacherous at any time of day. Travel at night outside the main urban areas is dangerous and should be avoided due to deplorable road conditions.
Crime against foreigners is rare in Albania, as targeting foreigners is often viewed as too risky.

The rest of the ride was great. I met a lot of Valk riders in Germany and Austria, and a lot of people that stopped looking at my bike everywhere. I`m working with a video, but that will take some time. I have about four hours with "raw film" for editing.

Looks almost as good as your Texas trip! I guess if you can not be here all the time, well, things could be worse, I guess. Thanks for sharing some gorgeous views, Dag. ~Jeff

Dag, thanks for the "box set" of videos...my son and I thoroughly enjoyed touring through Europe with you! cooldude

By the way, did I here you lock it up when you pulled off the highway to meet Lars Gunner north of Hamar? Shocked

Also, did you do this whole trip running "Dark Side"?

Yes, I hit the brake...   Grin
I did Inzane to Finland and the Euro-ride Darkide. I have about 10000 miles with the car tire now.
I think its ok except low speed and sharp turns (roundabouts)
The MC tire is on now, but will go darkside again on my next (long) ride.
