Looking through papers showing a list of everything added to my bike there is a listing for 4 way flashers.
How do I turn them on and off?

You should have a switch somewhere on the dash of an IS or the handlebar for a STD/Tourer.

Do ya see any strange switches anywhere?

If not, find the relay they wired in and start chasing wires till ya find a switch from that relay.

I'm assuming the relay is under the RIGHT sidecover, or the cover on the brake side.

As I understand it they did not come stock-leastways on my 99 I/S they didn't. We mounted my switch for the 4 ways on the center section where the side covers attach. On mine you have to LOOK to see it. RIDE SAFE.

Yep, that's where my switch is, too... Terry Parrish, Thunderbolt, down in Florida installed that for me on my (our) '99 Tourer (ALI) about 12 years ago... He did it as a Christmas present for us... It's a three position switch located below the seat on the plastic piece between the front of the two side covers very near the key hole to release the seat... BTW, those things still work!

Back in the old days, 3Wlonerider did me a great favor and hooked me
up with 4ways..

As an added bonus, there is a feedback loop that when I have my signals on it beeps
kind of like a truck backing up

My switch is near the reserve/off/on of the petcock on the left side.

Used them last riding home from GOTF in the pouring rain

That was a GREAT ride !
