Judging by the time hack on the picture, we got it right at the stroke of midnight. Kinda hard to get a good selfie with the champagne glasses in the pic. Not the best shot ever taken but serves the purpose. Rita's already in her nightgown and housecoat, so you know where she was a couple minutes later.  Grin

Happy New Year to you all.  cooldude

We were home by ourselves and made it until midnight, and maybe a half hour beyond. We had been invited to the same friends home for a party as last year. If you all remember, last year we could not go because Viv had that fall on the stairs at the beach. Well, this year I came down with some kind of infection that's got my neck looking like a hamster with his cheeks full of sun flower seeds,  Shocked (nope, not mumps, but the docs not sure what!), and feeling like I got run over by that beautiful big Boss Hoss.  Undecided  Anyways, I've got two weeks of anti-biotics, what else? So my fever broke yesterday, but we missed the same party again. If it wasn't our Pastor inviting us, I believe I'd turn down the invite next year.  Doesn't seem to be great Karma. So between this, elbow and carpel tunnel surgeries on my right arm and hand, and then trigger finger surgery on the left hand in mid December, I have not seen much of my Valkyrie. Cry  I'm looking forward to a better 2015, at least Motorcycle wise.

Gee Pete, looks like we're both reaching the age where we need to jack up our butt and run a new body under it. My bum right hip has kept me out of the saddle most of the time for over a year now. I didn't know how much it affected the rest of the old carcass, I sure do now....especially the knee on that side. If one isn't hurting(throbbing), the other part is. Oh well, we're still on the pretty side of the flower patch. Hope to see you folks soon.  cooldude
