I want to go back to HS..... I think I missed something in my well rounded education.

You put your right hand in,
You put your right hand out,
You put your right hand in,
And you shake it all about,

You do the hokey pokey
and you turn yourself around
That what it's all about.

It's a true story.  I posted that one several months ago when the story first broke.

big difference when we all were going to school and now.  Almost all my teachers, except one,  were way old like we are now, and even older, for most of us.  I did like our foods II, home economics, teacher she was at the time guessing 30 and me 17, she was nice to look at, so I took those 2 classes in high school - LOL.

I even visited her house a few times and played tennis with her, but that is where it ended since she had 1 child and was pregnant with 2nd while I was in high school.  I saw her once a few years ago and recognized her after all these years, guessing pushing 60, she is still pretty good looking.

I look at my kids teachers now, and they almost are all out of college both male and female, so I can really see how these kind of situations can present themselves.  Most teachers wtih tenure are retiring way early in WI and most teachers right out of college start off in these smaller school systems to get their foot in the door.  After a few years, most move on to a bigger school system with more money.

Personally,  if I was in high school, that one on the left in the article I'd jump on that for sure, NOT so much the older one on the right with 3 kids and married at home.  Live life when young I guess though???  I for one would keep it hush, hush and continue on with it for sure.  The high school kid was dumb to brag, just keep quiet going back for more and more is the smart thing to do?   Kiss

Back in the 60s when I was in high school we would just call him a lucky bustard.

I hate to see these stories hit the news like this. Now every kid in the USA is going to try and move to Louisiana. We have equal opportunity pervs here in Louisiana.

Hell the kid is probably getting more action now than he was before.  You don't think those young gals want some experienced stuff.   Granted he could have kept it on the quiet for awhile, but the free advertising.....

If he is more active, then it's with the easy girls.    Those who aren't already know he told about his other experience, he'll talk about new ones also.    I'm not suggesting he's not having a "grand ole time" but, if he is, it's with those who he could have been with anyway.

Yep, lucky bastard and a dumbass for bragging about it. I was skipping out of school with some buds when I was in 9th grade I think. We were cruising a Terre Haute park in my buds old fairlane and spotted our typing teacher making out with one of the senior boys on a blanket. We stopped the car and honked till they looked up and saw us, then we waved.

Obviously the teacher didn't turn us in for skipping school. The student and the teacher married after he graduated and divorced a few years later.

In the mid 70's, it was common knowledge at our HS that several teachers were getting it on after hours with a few students both male and female. Funny; it didnt seem odd then.

I agree with what Cookie said, "teachers when we went to school seemed much older". Though, like HurstRob said, "common knowledge of a few..."
Me being 52 and having two kids, 16 & 14. They are both in high school now and I as a parent am not in/at the school like I was when they were in grade school and jr. high. When they were in grade school the teachers seemed extremely young, as they proceeded into jr high the avg age got higher. Now that they are in high school the avg age is higher (35 and up) or so it seems. Doesn't seem to be many if any 20somethings teaching their. Before I had kids, I would've said more power to him! (A gentleman always keeps his mouth shut, BTW). Now that I have kids, that's a NO-NO!
Ahhhh, but I am thankful for all the memories the 37yo neighbor lady across the street from where I grew up. Provided me, during my jr. and sr. years in high school!   Wink
