If next week, I will not be able to attend.  If Sunday, I would think that a restaurant or bar that me might want to use would be somewhat busy due to the game.  Can't see how watching a football game would make a meeting work, but it's not a bad idea to throw out a place to meet and watch the game (but not have a meeting).

Weather looks pretty lousy on Sunday as well.

You might want to get a headcount as to the number who would attend on either date to make a quick determination as to which is best.  You may find that there aren't any people at your meeting otherwise.

I'd recommend waiting until the weekend of the 17th - temperatures will be higher (forecast around 60) and less rain chances.

Just my .02 and worth every bit.

Yes, I spaced the meeting.  I only got back last night and have been mostly unavailable.  There will be plans coming for a meeting sometime in the near future.  Don't know when or where yet.

Ok, counting me I count 4 maybe 7 or could it be 8?

Keep them coming.

Oh, I almost forgot, I'm going to do a little show and tell with a smidgen of motivational speaking, with possibly some preaching.

ok, after recounting, looks like I missed a couple "maybes" I'm going to use VRCC math and call it 4 maybe 10 and ask for the private room, it should be able to accommodate 10  to 15.

keep posting, and Tom it's not getting political, I didn't mention any elected officials or government entities! So let us keep it that way.

  Al's Hammer:

Al was in court for a double murder, and the judge said, "You are charged with beating your wife to death with a hammer."

A voice at the back of the courtroom yelled out, "You bastard!"

The judge continued, "You are also charged with beating your mother-in-law to death with a hammer."

Again, the voice at the back of the courtroom yelled out, "You cursed bastard!"

The judge stopped, looked at the man in the back of the courtroom, and said, "Sir, I can understand your anger and frustration at this crime, but I will not have any more of these outbursts from you, or I shall charge you with contempt! Now is that a problem?"

The man at the back of the court stood up and responded, "For fifteen years, I have lived next door to that bastard, and every time I asked to borrow his hammer,

Was a great showing today.  16 people where in attendance from all over the metro area.  We even got thrown out of the room we were in ( because the room was too small and they moved us to a larger room ).  Brew had his show n tell, which was his full face helmet with scaring all around.  He says he is now a devout believer, ( in helmets all the time now at least ).  We talked about the current status of Yoda's project bike which was the main focus of the last wrench party.  We discussed notable upcoming events which are listed below and will be covered in more detail in separate threads when appropriate.  Then we went outside and kicked tires and told a few lies before going our separate ways.

International Motorcycle Show - Dallas  Jan 23-25
