If you are bored and want a different place to ride.....
Antique Outboard event going on in Lake Placid at the 4-H club there.
I bet TJ knows where it is!
Should be lots of engines on display and out on the lake running.
Since Lesa and I didn't make it last time we are planning on being there with
a pretty nice 16' Alumacraft open boat with an Evinrude BigFour on it.
Engine was produced in 1949 or 1950.
60 cu. in. and 50hp in an opposed 4-cylinder design.
Come by and take a ride if you like!

Directions

Cloverleaf 4-H Center is located 7 miles south of Sebring, off Highway 27 on Cloverleaf Road. From Hwy. 27 South: turn west onto Cloverleaf Road at 4-H Camp sign.  The center is located approximately 3 miles on the right. From Hwy. 27 North: go one mile past Lake Placid Tower and turn west on Lake June Road (CR621). Go 2.5 miles and turn right on Cloverleaf Road.  The center is located 1/4 mile on the left.

that sounds neat, but we're heading north for a stogie.  [in the car]
seems like everything happens on 1 weekend.  this event, kites on the coast and a Stogie lunch.  I'm sure there's other stuff, but I don't know about them.   where ever you go have a good time and be safe.   Cool
