Greetings all,

I am thinking about adding internal grip heaters, polly heater types, to the Valk and the wires normally go down the tubes to the center where a hole is drilled to allow snaking the wires out. Does anyone know if the handlebars are hollow all the way through? Or is there some plugs or section plates inside?

Thanks in advance.

You would be better off getting a pair of heated gloves.
If the internal heaters get to hot the switch housing wiring and the throttle sleeve(plastic) could be damaged.
I tried the heaters and they do not work very good below 32 F. They need to heat the handle bar, the throttle assy (sleeve and grips), and your gloves before they begin to warm your hands.
Some others may have had better luck.

Heated grips keeps your inner palms and inner fingers warm..Does nothing for the outside of the skin that bares the wind... Heated Gloves keep both sides hands and fingers warm as toast all around... Avitar was taken in the middle of Feb in New England.. With heated Gloves....

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. I have tried the gloves, could not find a set that fit me well enough to justify the expense. (did get a nice gift card for the price when returned though) ;-)

I have been contemplating heated liners so I could use my own gloves, but that may be a project later down the road.

thanks again,
Mike

+1 on the heated gloves. Love mine and extends my riding season.
