From the picture it looks like you ride a standard. I put Interstate rear shocks on mine and it made a big difference (they are heavier duty to handle the added weight of the IS). Lots of those who went Progressive have a set lying around that you can get at a decent price, many were pulled after low miles.
No, a Tourer Hard Bags , I think mine are fine , I been looking for replacment for my buddies Stock Shocks.
I never priced OEM ones yet.
I really like the looks of OEM but my other friend has progressive and the shorter ones, I can easily Flat foot on his bike with out reposition myself in the saddle. I can FLat foot mine, but I have a diff seat and sometimes I have to wiggle a tad, not bad . Problem is we have no idea what my one friends Progressives are.
