Well while I am waiting for my battery to arrive I went ahead and ordered a set of Motowings, a handlebar mounted power supply and phone holder.

Then I just need to get with Grumpy to get my new front (rear) tire installed.

I'm always curious why some riders order a battery. I get mine from Batteries Plus, they're strong and last for quite a few years. I usually will pay near $70 exchange but it's ready to install and just down the road from me. The nice part is....no waiting and it lasts as long as any other.

As it turns out, a Valk battery also fits a VSTAR 1100. Bought one locally as well on Saturday from Champion, in Eustis. They were competitive to the prices I found on the web.
Cant beat shopping from your home though.....nice and easy when you open the door and there it is!

well I ordered from Batterymart and it was $49.95 free shipping to the door should be here tomorrow.

Then vroom vroom- that is,  after it warms back up again..
