HF has a MC dolly on sale for 79.00 right now. I read most of the reviews and only one said he had tried to put a 2002 Valkyrie on it. He said it wouldn't fit. He gave it to his son for his smaller bike. But every other bike that was mentioned would fit. Harley Ultras, Road Kings, Wings,VTX 1800's. All big long bikes. I could really use one of these to be able to ride into my garage and turn the bike around when I get in. So, anyone have one, and does the Valk fit? Oh yeah, I have a CT on mine too. I do know I could just buy one and see, but I'd like to know if it's going to work before I buy it and put it together.

I don't. I'll look on the HF website to see.

I looked there and didn't see anything. Wheel base of 75 inches I'll check mine tomorrow if I can get in the garage.

It will absolutely fit.
I have one... have had both I/S and Standard on it, no issues (with car tires).

Thank you. I do believe I'll buy one then. It would help my parking situation in my garage.

I assembled one for a vendor. My Valk fit (MC tire) but I felt the caster wheels were over stressed with the Valks weight. Upgrade the casters if you want it to move easily.

I have one and I paid $59.00 a couple years ago and I don't use it much. I can confirm that a 205-60-16 or a 205-65-16 WILL fit. The ramps that flip up can be a problem if you mount the bracket on the inside (where tire rolls through) I put mine on the outside and did some customizing so the rod stayed in the bracket. (hope this makes sense).
Sandy,
The casters were never a concern for me. My garage is smooth concrete with no cracks and rolls quite smoothly and I don't notice them being stressed. But to each their own.

I have one also and I had to extend it to get my Valkyrie on it. They are to short as they come from HF. I just moved the two sides apart a couple of inches and drilled the holes and bolted it up. Still can't get the rear bar on it that secures them in place, but with the kickstand down it stays with no problems. If you want some pictures just let me know and I can make some tomorrow.

I have it and really like it. I have an 01 Standard. It is a tight fit on the dolly, but otherwise works very well. I only have a 2 car garage and I put the Valk in the back corner. I use to have to do a 20 point turn to get it in the back of the garage. Now with the dolly I can simply roll the bike into place. Then when I want to take a ride bike simply rolls out. I back it off the dolly, and ride. The dolly is very strong and sturdy. Just be careful loading and unloading off the dolly. While backing off you may find yourself wanting to turn the handlebars but you can't because the front tire sits down in the channel. This is an odd feeling, but with some practice you can get it figured out.

I have 2 of them.. my Tourer just fits on it... you have to take the little stopping bar out in the front as it's that close.. but it does fit and makes storage WAY easier. I also keep my son's Shadow in the garage too and you can tuck the bikes really tight together ... They're built pretty well. I'd recommend getting one. 98t

got rid of mine after two hours. I attempted to ride and walk the valk I/S on and both times the back tire rode up on the rail. I thought I was in alignment, but apparently not or it shifted or.....
But one thing is for sure, that tire being up on the rail while the front was in the channel, PULLED the bike and handle bars away from me causing a near drop...
after two times of almost losing the bike, I had enough. sold it the next day

I back off mine when I leave and when I come home, I drive right up on the dolly - not problem. The key is to get the bike lined up straight. If it's a little crooked, it can be a problem and when the back tire comes up on the ramp, it's not lines up it can throw your balance off a little as it rides up on the side rail... but even then, I just rock back and forth once on the dolly and the rear wheel drops into the center. I don't know how a car tire would work on one of these.
It really helps save space in the garage.
