Hey John, If you like that, check out the Pakit Rak. http://www.pakitrak.com/Works great hanging on the back of the Bushtec V2 hitch and keeps the weight down low. DFG

Where are you going to add running, brake and turn lights?
That tube will cover them up on your Valkyrie. Wings can get by as their lights are outside of the rack..............
If ya pack it clear full, you are going to have 1 great big old top heavy sled to ride....................

Yes +1 on al's stuff. I got the luggage rack and used it out to Sturgis this year.Had a duffle bag the was just big enough to hold 2 3/4 helmets and rain gear with boots. It was just below the brake light and it covered up the turns. I use hand signals 98% of the time anyway so it didn't matter. Put leathers on top and it covered the brake light. This was the only problem. Never got stopped tho.

I often find a use for my hitch mounted cargo carrier. I do have the advantage of owning a Interstate. I added led signals to my trunk running lights, it also uses a licence plate reloctor that mounts up under my trunk. Ran a piece of 1/2 by 3/16 aluminum stock between the helmet lock mount bolts, and move the plate up for any extended ride with the carrier. Watch it now, I am going to try to post my first photo, .jpg) at the time of this photo I was using a licence plate frame with led turn signals and a running light. I 've since gone to the mount under the truck for the plate. Soon to add an led for the plate light. I really like moving any extra wieght down low. And posting a photo wasn't too bad.

The one in the photo in my last posting was my first attempt at making one ,it was made from a salvaged truck tool box with tread plate pattern stamped on it. I have not seen others wth the lights on them thought I had somthhing different. This one .jpg) .jpg) Is for momma ,(if it fits in here you can bring it) its lockable, removable dry storage. When I made this one is when I decided to move the licence plate up to below the trunk. It works .
