Can anyone tell me if the kill/Starter switch housing and wiring assembly on an interstate is the same as the standard/touring?

I have installed I/S kill switch housings on my Tourer, the cables on the Tourer enters the housing from the side. The cables on the I/S enter from the bottom, I like the looks of the throttle cables entering from the bottom, out of sight, sort of. To answer your question, they are different, the wiring colors and connectors are the same except there is one more wire on the I/S. Hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure you would have to have corresponding throttle cables IS for IS and STD for STD box

Thanks for the info, just bought a new one on ebay then realized it may be for a standard/ tour not my interstate. Had to cancel my order.

Cables all work, doesn't matter which box is used.
