Does anyone know what size o-ring that goes in our carbs? I'm talking abour the ones that fit in the feeder tubes. I have a couple leaking so I'm going to change all 16 of them. Might as well do the the air and the fuel o-rings. I go a place that has metric o-rings, but need the size. If not I'll take them apart tomorrow and take them out. Was hoping someone knows the size.
Thanks, David

I'm not sure what O rings you are refering to. The intake runner O rings are a #123 and getting them in Viton or Silicone would be your best choice. But there are only 6, not 16 O rings. These are at the intake runner where the tube meets the cylinder head.

Could try Red Eye for a kit. It's what I got.

Not those. I have plenty of them on hand. I get my o-rings local at a real good price. The ones I'm talking about are the o-rings that deliver fuel to the carbs. I was hoping it was a fuel line, but yesterday pulled the tank and rigged up a gas bottle so I could see the leak and it was the o-rings on the right carb bank where it tee's between #2 and #3 carb.

Saw that last night. Way to high. Of course if you need them that's a good price Smiley. I'll be taking one out today to carry with me to the place I get mine. They have thousands of o-rings. I'll probably be able to get the 16 o-rings for less than $10.00. Once I find out what size I'll post them in case others need the size. With the age of the Valks this is going to be a problem. So far my 99 Tourer is ok. This is on my 98 standard that I have been working on.

I had that problem when I change slow jets, desmogged and cleaned the tank. The fuel lines were empty for at least a month and leaked when I got it all back together. The leak was bad at first but with the petcock turned off it tapered off within a few days and has now been good for almost 2 years. Sometime procrastination works.

I was hoping mine would, but no luck. I thought the air side and the fuel side was the same size but their not. The fuel ones are a little bigger. Will be caring them with me in the morning to get some new ones. Might as well pick up some extra for later when my tourer starts leaking. Of course the one that I'm working on has been out in the weather and was laid down once. It's been a project bike I have been fixing up. I got this one set up solo. Got her running great till the fuel leak appeared. Hoping to post a picture once I get thru with her. Still got to change out the fork seal, leaking just a little.
