Finishing up a major top to bottom redo on the Fat Lady, and I want to add heated grips. They come in anything from the 50.00 delivered range, to OMG!
Anyone have a favorite or one they know sucked in the past?
Obviously amps are not a huge concern on our bikes, more worried about going through the effort for a product that will die off or underperform.

Thanks for your help, and someday the sun will return and drive back the wall of white blocking off my garage.

I've never had them on a motorcycle (only on snowmobiles), but webbikeworld.com has a few reviews:

I've run Oxford on two bikes, and they perform very well and are cheap.  I have this model:
http://www.amazon.com/Oxford-OF697Z-Heaterz-Cruisers-Handlebar/dp/B0033AM3Y0
Nothing fancy, look is very stock.  Oxford has some newer models that look a bit more plain, but have a "smart" controller that connects direct to the battery, and will auto turn off if left on with bike off.  Don't know if I would trust that feature.  The grips above come with a really cheesy controller, that I immediately replaced with a HeaTroller mounted in the fairing.  The controller is the only bad part of the kit.  I have heated grips on everything except the DRZ-400S, and always will!  I'm sure heated gloves are better, but the grips are always there.
